Conversion from Wind2/Award (nka Deltek FMS) to Deltek Vision® gives firm the tools it needs for growth and improved efficiency

Until early 2004, professional consulting firm V3 Companies, Ltd., used Wind2/Award (nka Deltek’s Financial Management System (FMS)) to handle all of its accounting functions and client relationship management needs. As V3 expanded, the firm began to look for a flexible, web-based solution that would accommodate a larger number of timesheets and invoices, as well as house all financial, project and client information, in a single, fully integrated database.

“As we grew, we stressed Wind2/Award to its max. It wasn’t made for a 250-employee firm like V3,” said Jim Mann of the now 350-employee company. “With multiple subsidiaries, we also had six to eight databases of ‘redundant data’ running separately and we wanted to combine them into one.”
